Arrived safely in Guatemala.
/Started Village Health Training with over 30 students including college teachers and a lady from the Government Health Department.
Our Vision team saw 70-80 including a group of over 40 children from an orphanage. These are children ranging from infants to teenagers. They have been rescued from prostitution, off the streets and other forms of abuse and persecution.
On Our Way!
/A team of 9 members are flying to Guatemala. We are taking about 2500 pairs of prescription eye glasses and 600 Readers. We also have our CPR manikins, First Aid supplies and Hydrotherapy supplies to use in training Village Health Care workers. We are excited about returning after 2 years. We trained over 25 locals to be Village Health Care workers for their villages.
We will fly to Guatemala City then drive 8-10 hours to the village nearby the clinic where we will be working. We will try to keep you posted on how things go. Thank you for your prayers and support.
